Logic math puzzle with two answers
Logic math puzzle with two answers
To solve it you must think out of the box.
1+4=5
2+5=12
3+6=21
8+11=?
|
The two answers to the puzzle are 40 and 96.
If the answer is 40
Solution
1+4=5
2+5=7+5=12
3+6=9+12=21
11+8=19+21=40
If the answer is 96
1+4=5 (obvious).
Then multiply the two numbers and add the first number to the product.
2+5 = (2×5)+2=10+2= 12.
The next is 3+6= 21= (3×6)+3 =18+3= 21.
Finally.
8+11= (8×11)+8= 88+8= 96.
