How do you write “Happy Birthday” in Greek?

The exact translation is Χαρούμενα Γενέθλια (haroumena yenethlia) but we usually say : ”Χρόνια Πολλά” (hronia polla) which literally means ”many years”.

You could also say ”Χρόνια πολλά για τα Γενεθλιά σου” which means ”Many years for your birthday”.

Many people also use the phrase ”Να τα εκατοστήσεις”. This is an alternative translation meaning “live to be a hundred years”.

-Ό,τι επιθυμείς! (Oti epithimis) : Whatever you wish!

-Εύχομαι για τα γενέθλια σου τις καλύτερες ευχές μου! Χρόνια πολλά!
